I just entered the 2008 HGTV Dream Home Giveaway for the first time. This is another one of the one entry per day contests that I originally intended to forgo this year, but…have you seen the house? It’s gorgeous and the furnishings are absolutely divine! So…on the off chance that I’ll be the lucky winner, I’ve decided to try my chances during the last three days of the contest.
Of course as a Realtor-in-training, this house would go on the market immediately, minus a few furnishings. LOL! The grand prize includes:

As if I didn’t get enough HGTV already…I entered the second chance contest to win a Yukon Hybrid. Would my daughter love this car! She’s in her second year of college and always has a gaggle of girlfriends along for the ride…of course I’d be generous and give her the Explorer while I’d keep the Yukon! It’s not very often that Mom gets something just for Mom.

Normally, I don’t enter those contests that allow daily entries…but this looks to be a reputable site, so I gave it a try. Hopefully, I’ll remember to return daily to enter!

Design Mom is giving away a bundle of eco-friendly items, from baby clothes and books to cleaning items and puppets. Nifty little find! I’d love to try the cleaning products; the baby and kiddie items would go to my younger sister for her little ones.
